Our Shipping prices are based on the following for shipping inside the Continental United States. The rates are for Ground Service Only: All orders have a minimum shipping rate of $10.50. Depending on your order, additional charges are added to shipping based on size, weight, design for packing, etc. for the item(s) you have ordered. If your order is a bulk or large or the items you are purchasing are large, than we hold the right to charge you the actual cost for shipping your order from our location to your location. If you chose to email us the Shopping Cart order to purchase with your Credit Card, we will charge your Credit Card the actual cost of shipping your order with the addition of packaging charges. Temporarily Unavailable means that there are too many orders waiting to be processed and no new orders are being taken for this item at this time.

Honestly. We produce your items when we receive your order and we fill orders on a "first come-first filled" basis. We have very few items in stock. We have one mold for each item we sell. Yes, we do try to fill more than one order at a time, but yours still may be one we have received after several are already being processed. To give an example of an order is as follows: if you want 12 of some item, figure it will take business twelve days. A pour a day. Then a couple more days to dry, because the one item we took out of the mold today still needs a couple of days to dry. Bisque orders need to be cleaned of mold seam lines, scratches, and detail is put back into the piece that is worn away when cleaning. That will take a day or so, sometimes more depending on the piece. It takes about a day to fire and a day to cool in the kiln. That will make your order about 20 or 23 days to complete before it can be packaged and shipped. Yes, there is the possibility that we may get to pour two a day but we do not want to make that guarantee because most of the time items do not come out of the mold correctly. Therefore the item will need to be poured again. We are very happy to receive orders such as yours, but we cannot make your items quicker than it takes to make them. Most orders can be shipped out to you from 10 to 21 days. If we get many orders at one time, then orders begin to back up. When orders start to pile up, shipping gets pushed out to 4 to 6 weeks. Please keep in mind this product is made by hand. The process takes as long as it is going to take.

It varies from clay to clay but anywhere between 7-20 days and it must be bone dry.

Slip is ceramic in liquid form that is poured into molds to create slip cast items.

Here is a brief description of how ceramic bisque is made: The process begins by pouring a liquid clay based mixture (slip) into a plaster mold. Slip is added until the desired thickness is achieved and the remainder of the slip is poured out. The casting is left in the mold, usually overnight, depending on the size, humidity, weather, etc., until it is firm enough to be able to stand on its own. When it is removed from the mold, it is then put on a ventilated shelf to air dry. After drying, touch-up work is done and the seams left from the molds are carefully removed from the piece with small hand tools and sanding pads. The next step is firing the casting in a ceramic kiln for around 5 hours until the temperature gets to Pyrometric Cone 04, approximately 2,000 degrees. When the proper temperature is reached, the kiln is left undisturbed to cool. The cool down time last until the next day and is part of the firing process. After they have cooled, they are removed from the kiln and are complete. The ceramic bisque is now in the ready to paint stage.
